Beginner-Friendly + Supported by Local Game Masters

Come for the story, stay for the connection. This is a low-pressure, ND-friendly Dungeons & Dragons session where you can join in at your pace — with experienced Game Masters there to guide the game, explain as we go, and make sure everyone feels included.

What to expect

  • A friendly Dungeon Master to narrate the story, explain the rules and guide you step by step.

  • All materials provided – character sheets, pens and sets of polyhedral dice (d4–d20).

  • Optional participation — observing is welcome

  • Breaks are always okay

  • A “come as you are” room culture

Movie & Pizza Afternoon 19 April

A chill movie afternoon with pizza, soft drinks and no pressure to talk. Sit in the dark, share a story on screen, and connect as much (or as little) as feels right. Perfect for those who like shared experiences without intense social demand.

What to expect

  • One movie (ND-friendly choice, to be announced).

  • Pizza and soft drinks, including some GF/veg options.

  • You can wear headphones, bring fidgets or sit on the aisle if that helps.

  • Come solo or with a support person – no forced small talk.

Tennis 17 May

Tennis Hangz is a relaxed, low-pressure session for ND adults and allies who want a little movement, fresh air and connection — without any pressure to be “good” at tennis.

We’ll have the rackets and balls ready to go, so all you need to do is show up. Friendly hosts will be there to welcome you in and help you settle at your own pace. You’re welcome to have a hit, watch from the sidelines, take breaks whenever you need, or simply enjoy being in a calm, “come as you are” space with no pressure to be sporty or social.

What to expect

  • Friendly hosts to help everyone settle in and join at their own pace

  • Rackets and balls provided — just show up and we’ll have everything ready

Craft Workshop 21 June

A hands-on, sensory-friendly craft session for ND adults who like making things with their hands. Come and create at your own pace – no “talent” required, just curiosity. You can chat, stay quiet, or listen to the room buzz while you make.

What to expect

  • Guided craft activity + free-play materials (e.g. collage, simple painting, beading).

  • All materials supplied; you’re welcome to bring your own project too.

  • Tables set up for quieter focus and gentle group chat.

  • ND-affirming space: stimming, breaks and headphones all welcome.

Music Hangz 19 July

A relaxed music-room style hang for ND adults – think instruments, low-key jams, and a comfy corner if you just want to listen. No performance, no stage, no pressure to be “good” – just shared sound and gentle connection.

What to expect

  • A room set up with basic instruments (keys, percussion, maybe guitar) to gently explore.

  • Space for people who want to bring their own instruments or just listen.

  • Clear cues about volume levels and a quieter zone available.

  • Come and go between the music space and chill/quiet areas as needed.

Hiking and Picnic Day 22 March

A gentle bird watching walk and picnic for ND adults who like nature, fresh air and side-by-side company. Walk at a relaxed pace, take breaks when you need, and then settle in for a low-pressure picnic where you can chat, stim, snack or simply soak up the scenery.

What to expect

  • A relaxed, guided walk with plenty of rest stops and no fitness pressure.

  • Picnic time afterwards – bring your own food, or share if you’re comfy.

  • Quiet spots to decompress, use headphones or just watch the world go by.

Barefoot Bowls 22 Feb

A low-pressure morning of lawn bowls and gentle hangs. Think sunshine, slow movement, and side-by-side chats with plenty of breaks. No sporting experience needed – just comfy clothes and willingness to roll a few bowls (or simply spectate).

What to expect

  • Intro to lawn bowls for beginners (with relaxed, no-pressure vibes).

  • Option to play, watch from the sidelines, or take breaks as needed.

  • Shaded seating and quieter spots to decompress.

  • ND-affirming hosts who get that social energy can fluctuate.
